DAL Expo Adelaide: Robotics Innovation in Aged Care

We sponsored the DAL Expo (Disability, Ageing, and Lifestyle) in Adelaide, hosted by Catalyst Foundation. This event brought together care professionals, disability support providers, and technology companies to look at ways to improve the quality of life for Australia’s ageing population.

Suresan Rajandra and Ross Dellow presented at the breakfast session, sharing insights on how system integration and robotics can improve residential care environments. Their presentation focused on practical applications that benefit both residents and care staff.

temi’s Capabilities

At the expo, we showed attendees how temi robots work in care settings. People could see how our system integration helps temi:

  • Keep residents engaged through interactive activities and entertainment
  • Help staff with routine tasks and communication
  • Connect families through virtual visits and video calls
  • Support healthcare delivery with mobility assistance

What We Learned

The DAL Expo provided us a platform to talk with care providers, disability support organisations, and healthcare professionals from across South Australia.

These conversations helped us understand the specific challenges facilities face every day. Our discussions with facility managers showed us how temi can address their actual operational needs.

We’re grateful to Catalyst Foundation for organizing an event that brings together care professionals and technology providers.
